I remember when I was little and I read about the candy house in Hansel & Gretel...how it made my mouth water thinking of a house full of chocolates and candy, and how I would have just loved to go into one! :-) Gosh...it still makes my mouth water... LOL...
Anyway, this was what I was thinking when I saw Asyraaf in the baby room in Sunway Pyramid last weekend. I haven't been there for a long time and it was evident there was a lot of changes there. Asyraaf & I went there while waiting for Ayah to finish his class... The room was a heaven for babies and mothers alike I suppose. There is an extensive counter with an elaborate sink to clean your baby in, Anakku soap and mosturizer dispenser, hot, warm and cold water dispenser, a slide-open door with push button adult level to prevent toddlers getting out of the room on their own, and the best part is... it has a small play yard with a soft mat. And it also has a small embedded room for breastfeeding moms. In short you just need to bring your diapers.
God it was cozy in there... We went there initially to change Asyraaf's diapers but ended up spending an hour in it with the first half an hour spent by Asyraaf playing in the play yard and not wanting to come out of it. And he looked so at home in it I thought of buying one for him at home. THEN it would be heaven for Ibu since he would be occupied there... :-) I applaud Sunway for the baby-friendly rooms they provide which in turn will make customers thinking to go there again...and again... * hint2...
For those who are not really familiar with baby rooms, it can sometimes be hard to find baby facilities in some shopping malls, with no rams available so that stollers can have access, lifts that are very far at the end of the malls rather than nearby every entrance and baby rooms that are not comfortable at all and not baby-friendly. I used to take it for granted but since Asyraaf came along, it has become a priority to go to places that has these amenities. And the same applies to handicapped parkings and toilets...
* Happy Belated Mothers' Day to all... It is a great gift to be a mother, one that I will cherish always...
