One morning last week, as usual, I received an email from Babycentre... The article amongst them was this one :
Where's your nose?
An 11-month-old baby is just learning about himself as a separate person from you. Part of that process is learning about his body and, like many things, he will learn through play. If you ask your baby where his nose is, and point to it, he will soon make the connection and begin to point to it himself. Games like "Head and shoulders, knees and toes" and "This little piggy went to market" are great ways to help your child experience his body and learn through the words and the actions.
So we thought it would be fun to play with Asyraaf this new game to see whether he can interact with us. And this was how it went...LOL...
* I think I said "Asyraaf, no!" too much lah...aiyo...
* Disclaimer : Just came across this...
At this age, most babies shake their head "no" even when they mean to say "yes?" That's because it takes more coordination to shake up and down than side to side. Which leaves you to figure out those mixed signals!
........ Hence the compulsive head shaking eh...? :-)
