This is new. And it is the new craze of Zamir Asyraaf.
DANCING. More or less I guess.
No music is alienated, as long as it has a rhythm...he will shake his bottom and hands while laughing gleefully, glancing at us of course, to see if we are watching him dance. Sucker for glamour hehehe. But it's really funny, but he has an ear for music I think which makes melody easy for him to relate to.
Commercials such as the Nippon paint where the paints are bouncing here and there would keep him transfixed to the TV screen and a smile would be on his lips. If he was standing, he would dance, if he was lying down he would get up and shake his booties...LOL.
The full version of the ad, the one shown on TV is shorter though...
Usually during weekends, me and Asyraaf would spend our time together shopping or just going around in the car. Usually it's the shopping complexes since it's cool and easy for me to get to baby amenities should Asyraaf go poo poo or in need of a change. So there was once, he was in his stroller and a music came on in the shopping complex...and off he goes shaking his body up and down in the very stroller...shaking his head and hands...to an Indian music...hahaha. People were glancing and smiling at him looking at his antiques...and he smiled right back...hehehe. And kept on smiling till the music was out of his hearing...phew... so much for having a quiet evening out...:-)
As for his eating habits...he is eating more solids now...rice, bread, biscuits, chocolates, fruits...you name it. I had to wrestle my Milo drink from him if I need to drink it... He can eat up to 3-4 slices of bread at one time... But he is getting thinner, due to how active he is. And he sure is busy nowadays. Exploring and curious about almost everything around him. We try to accommodate... but it tires the h**l out of us at times... :-) More and more of the annoying traits of a toddler is showing everyday...and ohh the tantrums... yes, the infamous tantrums...Denying him something would result of him lying on the floor anywhere, be it at home, the mall and in a circle too...whilst throwing what other things you try to appease him with...hehehe. We have now learnt the art of putting a bland face in the public if he does something not-so-cute. But we manage I guess... as I said, can't live with, can't live without. When he's not around, we miss him, but when he's around, we have to shout to each other to make ourselves to be heard due to the 'Hear me express myself mode' either by babbling, singing or just plain...shouting! LOL...
