New Beginnings...: ANOTHER 'FAMILY GETAWAY' TO AN-NUR HOSPITAL

26/3/08 12.02 am...another trip to An-Nur Hospital. Asyraaf went vomitting without stop for about 8 times and we made the decision to head to An-Nur. He was crying and clinging to me for dear life as each wave of vomit came. Me and munir, initially only mildly alarmed started to pack up a few of asyraaf's things with one thought in mind...to head for the hospital. I had to change 3 times before finally accepting my fate that I will just wear the puke-all-over-me t-shirt...

We checked-in into the emergency ward...the dr decided asyraaf needed to be warded since he was already looking very tired because of all the vomitting and he didn't even move on the bed we put him in...which NEVER happened before, believe me. Usually we had to make sure he is safe from self-exploration-hazards. Anyway, he had to be put on drip which of course, in order for that to be done, he had to be poked into. Hmm...truthfully I was alarmed when the dr said..." Err...tak nampakla uratnye...tangan nya montok sangat..." (while pushing up her glasses up her nose a few times...) But alhamdulillah she managed to get the needle into asyraaf to draw a few drops of blood for testing and to put the saline in. The tests showed Asyraaf had an infection up his gut ( err...I dun really know what that means...) which caused the vomitting. So he was admitted the very night and guess what...?

I WOKE UP SURROUNDED IN ASYRAAF'S POOP

That's the realization I had when I woke up smelling something foul...hehehe only to find out I was sleeping on IT. LOL...Anyway, after a few shakes of my head, I managed to get moving and cleared up everything...got asyraaf cleaned up, bathed, his bed changed and fed with milk. 'Phuh... there's nothing better to shake you awake than poop...hahaha. So that was how it went for a few days... poop, change of pampers, poop, change of pampers...and the cycle goes on. The vomitting subsided but the diarrhea persisted which resulted to 5 days 4 nights family getaway at An-Nur. Here are some pics we took whilst at the hospital...
